Ilkeliani Luxury Camp is located in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya, East Africa. It’s one of the world’s most visited Big 5 game viewing destinations.

It’s best known for being host to part of the Great Migration, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This is an annual pilgrimage when over a million wildebeest make their way across the national park in search of greener pastures, followed by other antelopes, zebras, and hungry predators. However, it’s a prime safari destination year-round, with an impressive density of predators, especially big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs. Birdlife is also prolific, with over 450 species to spot on your safari.

The culture of the local Maasai is another drawcard, their colourful attire, rituals and warmth stealing the hearts of tourists from across the world.

Directions to Ilkeliani

Our Camp is a six-hour drive from Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. Alternatively, daily scheduled flights depart from Nairobi, Samburu and Nanyuki, which will take about 45 minutes. You’ll land at Ol Kiombo Airstrip, where the team will welcome you and transfer you the rest of the way via road transfer, taking about 25 minutes.
